Who's Zoomin' Who?

   Everyone wants to jump on the "Bash the Patriot Movement" bandwagon. Now the LA Times is trying to justify gun control using the Southern Poverty Law Center's hate report. While the latter points out that the PM is not a hate group, the Times claims that;"They are usually heavily armed, blinded by an intractable hatred, often motivated by religious zeal." The LAT eludes to the fact that we're all "white, right wing Americans". They always bring up Waco and OK City and in the same breath the SPLC points out that; "Antigovernment groups do not necessarily advocate or engage in violence or other criminal activities, though some have.", and "Many antigovernment groups are not racist", the latter quote comes after they cite that; "Patriot groups formed because we have elected a black president." Really?
   You have to notice the use the lead in points intent on swaying ones thinking with the hopes that the disclaimer is glossed over by the readers. These so-called "journalists" are obviously spreading propaganda when they refer to the PM as 'rightwing extremists'. With that aren't they just proclaiming that they themselves are 'leftwingers' and anti-US? They finish off by saying the PM is anti-government, a claim that show's the writer is either uninformed or just plain lying. They tie in gun ownership to create an imminent or pending danger to scare the reader into believing that a Patriot is a terrorist. Is it a coincidence that articles such as these are surfacing on the heals of our nations biggest gun control debate to date? Imagine that.
 I would like to set the record straight;
     Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, James Madison, and Benjiman Franklin were our founding fathers and Patriots, they were not terrorists. They weren't perfect, but they certainly weren't "anti-government", they were however anti-tyrannical government, hence our Declaration of Independence, the writing of our constitution and the founding of our nation. Wouldn't it be that those that would try to take that away are anti-government? One must also know that comparing Waco to OK City is like comparing apples to oranges and neither had anything to do with any Patriot Group. It is alleged that Timothy McVeigh was lashing out at the US government. That may be true but his actions were wrong, not Patriotic. Waco was truly a botched attempt by our government to arrest Branch Davidian leaders, but the Davidians motives were of a perverted religious sort, not anti-government.
 The Patriot Movement is made up of people that believe in our founding principles, they are willing to stand up and defend them as Americans, for all Americans. They believe in the constitution and that America is the great nation it is because of it. They believe that as stated in the COTUS the government get's it's power from the people, not vice versa. They are not naive to believe that the rise of another Adolf Hitler is impossible, even right here at home. They also know that greed exist in man and that in anything that involves money can be dangerous when it takes hold of people in powerful positions. I would fell safe to say that even dyed in the wool American 'Marxists' enjoy their freedom, but I don't think they realize the danger of their ideology as freedom is not a part of it.
    If you have not recognized the violations our government has committed to our civil rights in your lifetime I can only believe that you have not been paying attention. The militarization of police departments nationwide coupled with a drive to disarm the people should be alarming to all Americans. If the purchasing of enough ammunition for a 22 year war by the department named for our security (DHS) doesn't prompt you to ask why, I can only laugh as I assume that you think that for some reason they consider you on their side and safe from their agenda.
   Now the SPLC states that; " Patriot groups define themselves as opposed to the “New World Order,” engage in groundless conspiracy theorizing,"  They obviously have not seen the replays of the many speeches given by global leaders over the last 50 years, including our own presidents. They go on to say;  "Many warn of impending government violence or the need to prepare for a coming revolution." The DHS has recently purchased in excess of a billion (with a 'B') rounds of ammunition and 2700 MRAP vehicles. What is that for? 1.6 billion rounds to be exact, that is enough to keep us at war in the middle east for another 22 years based on "usage" figures. 2700 armored vehicles are enough for 54 per state, although I'm sure distribution will not be so uniform.
   The SPLC also says; "Other notable conspiracies found in the antigovernment movement include the idea that the government is secretly planning to round up citizens and place them in concentration camps run by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA."  FEMA camps do exist, they have already come out of the closet on these. Photos and videos are available all over the web, the locations are public information. It is estimated that there are 800,000 vacancies awaiting and over 700,000 burial bins in the event of mass deaths. These are facts, not "groundless conspiracies".
     "Fears of impending gun control or weapons confiscations, either by the government or international agencies, also run rampant in antigovernment circles. ", even the comatose masses have seen this all over the news since Sandy Hook so just what is the SPLC's agenda? The LA Times says that the PM is "mainly focused on guns" stating that they fear the government is "out to seize their weapons". We've already seen an "assault" weapons ban under Clinton, and if Diane Feinstein had her way they'd do it again so these are not claims without merit. In fact just today an 'assault weapons' ban has passed the senate judicial commitee so tell me, who's zoomin' who?
    Bush the younger also laid a few pieces to the chess board himself with the Patriot Act and the Homeland security act. Now with president Obama we have seen the Enemy Expatriot Act, the NDAA which allows indefinite detention of American citizens. By executive order he has given himself the power to commandeer the entire infrastructure of the US in the event of a "crisis" and he has his own personal "Kill List". We have just had the national conversation over the use of unmanned drones right here in the US to target Americans supect, not tried and convicted but merely suspect of terrorist activities. Are you begining to connect the dots yet?
   When a main stream media outlet or a nationaly known advocacy group come out with these absurdities claiming that a large portion of the American public are Patriotic Americans who love their freedom, but they are actually racist terrorists, one has to know that they are bought and paid for, voiceing the ideals of their sponsors. LA Times titles their article; "Peril from 'patriots'
The U.S. needs to keep a close watch on the growing threat of home-grown extremist groups."

They end it by saying; "These groups should be closely monitored, with resources adequate to the task, even if it means shifting some homeland security money from the hunt for foreign terrorists."
The real danger here lies is in the fuel these people put on the fire to divide Americans with agenda ridden propaganda and outright lies. The idea that a Patriot is in the same category as a terrorist is like saying Ghandi and Hitler were BFF's. These outlets forget that it is We The People that need to monitor the government not the other way around. Of course, a periodical is empowered with free speech and we encourage that 100%, but there is a difference between responsible journalism and government propaganda. America needs a return to good old fashioned American Values right now more than ever. We need to weed out the corrupt element within our elected government and their corporate sponsors so we can free ourselves once again from the oppressive chains of the oligarchy in the economic system that enslaves each and every one of us in the world. We used to be the benchmark for freedom, the world's hope, and the common folk like you and I in the rest of the world are counting on us to keep it that way.
